To train Graduates in Cinematography Direction with a theoretical-practical foundation, developing skills and competencies in the different areas of film art, such as: Production, direction, screenwriting, cinematography, post-production, and research, providing them with the ability to implement film production and distribution strategies, bringing diversity and richness to the cinematographic and audiovisual media in Mexico and the world.
Professional areas of specialization within the program
Applicants for the Bachelor's in Cinematography Direction must have completed high school, show interest and ability in audiovisual expression, curiosity, perseverance, and determination, as well as general culture and a passion for learning film techniques and technology in all its areas.
The graduate of the Bachelor's in Cinematography Direction will be a creative and ethical professional, capable of developing film and audiovisual projects in their different stages: screenwriting, directing, production, cinematography, post-production, criticism, and research. They will possess a solid artistic, technical, and humanistic training that allows them to integrate into the professional field of cinema, platforms, and digital media with an innovative, responsible, and socially committed approach.
